Hi Everyone! I`ve missed you! I would like to once again apologize for being so MIA. I have been super super busy as of late and with the Holidays coming up and a Thanksgiving party to plan, it leaves me little to no time to sit back, relax and Luuux.
I`ve been running around for the past couple of days trying to decide on how I am going to decorate for the Thanksgiving party. I finally decided on using organic decor, using butternut squash and sugar pumpkins as part of the centerpieces (pics soon) but I was still indecisive on how I wanted to display the pastries.
I was walking around Dollar tree on Sunday and I came across their candle section and was immediately drawn to their "crystal" candle holders. I picked up 4 of them as well as a couple of clear plates and decided to make a pastry tier out of them.
My husband kind of looked at me like I was crazy when I told him what I would be making out of dinner plates but when he saw the end result he was very impressed.
All it took was some good ol hot glue.
It may not look like much in the picture but in person these look very fancy and expensive. I ended up making 2 of them and will be using them for my Thanksgiving party.
I spent a total of $7 per pastry tier. Not bad right?
I think once I am done using this for the party I will use it to display jewelry or maybe even nail polish.
