DIY 1:12 scale corkboard (Dolls House)

I made this for my dolls house to go in my study room but it can go in a bedroom or you can do one for the kitchen with recipes and sopping lists on. I am going to tell you how to make it.
You will need:
X acto Knife
Black paint/Nail polish
Photos (things you want to go on your board)
Step 1:
You need to start off with some cork 3 inches wide and 2 inches high. I know you can buy this cork for craft uses but I couldn`t find any so another thing you can do is buy a cork notice board or if you already have one, cut it out of the back, that way you can still use the cork board without it being effected.
Step 2:
You need to have a frame on the cork board, you can paint it a colour to match the room on your dolls house it is going in or paint it a brown or a black. You can use whatever paint you want but I actually used nail polish as it give a glossy finish when its dry and dries quite quickly. You only want a thin line about 5mm. You also need to make sure the line is straight so you can do a guide with tape.
Step 3:
Now you need to decide what you want on your notice board. I have a small magazine which was actually out of a magazine. The magazine I got it from is called glamour magazine and they have mini photos of it on the page about subscriptions and alot of magazines have this. You can also print photos but make sure you scale them down to fit. It is completely up to you what you put on and customize it to your dolls house and the room its in. The photos I used was one of my little cousin that I actually took for my photography course, one of my and my dog called Poppy which I took four years ago before she did and I actually edited it on photoscape to create the heart affect, the last photo is of my and my other little cousin.
Step 4:
This step is the optional. You can customize your board with rhinestones and pretty small buttons. You can also put small seed beads on the things you have `pinned` on your board to look like pins The flower rhinestones I put on where scrapbook embellishments that actually came from poundland so were really cheap.
All the things I bought for this craft were really inexpensive and easy to find so good luck with this craft and if you give it ago let m know what you did.
DISCLAIMER: All text and photo were my own and the supplies for this craft were all bought by me
