DIY 1:12 Scale Chinese Food (Dolls House)

This is a really easy craft that will go great in your dolls house kitchen or take out shop. Its really easy and you can make it using things from around you house and it looks really effective. If you want to know how to make this then keep reading
You Will Need:
Printable Chinese Container (
Beige Thead
Cocktail Sticks
Craft Foam (Optional)
Glue Stick
Step 1:
Go to And print out the 1" template for out chinese take out box. Cut it out and glue it together. I find that glueing the tabs on the outside give it a better effect than glueing it on the inside because on chinese take out boxes you can see fold lines so glueing the tabs on the outside makes it look like the fold lines
Step 2:
Smudge some glue on your work surface. You may want to get something to cover your work surface with such as plastic (recycle off packaging). Cut off alot of the beige thead and tangle it all together too look like noodles. Smudge it in the glue to stick it together.
Step 3: This step is optional but before putting your noodles in your take out box, you can cut some small pieces of craft foam to look like some vegetables in it such as carrots ect but they need to be really small and thin. Mix them all in the noodles while the glue is still wet.
Step 4:
For this last step, you need to put your noodles in the take out box, the glue that you mix in with the noodles and vegtables, if you put the vegetables in, will stick it to the take out box. You next need to take a cocktail stick/toothpick and cut it in half making sure you are careful and consider safety. But both bits of the cocktail stick in the noodles with the pointy side down to look like chopsticks.
And there you have it, an easy simple craft idea to put into your dolls house that you can make using things from around your house. You can also get blank take out box templates ( which you can then customize which is good if you ave your own take out dolls house shop. You can customize them on your computer before printing or using felt tips after printing.
Let me know if you guys have ago at this and how it works out.
