If you`re a book lover like me, you probably have some books on your shelf that are close to your heart. Why not take to displaying them instead of hiding them away on a shelf? With some beautiful book displays, it`s rather easy!
What You`ll Need!
-Your favorite books
I got my book stands from Ross. I bought two small ones for everyday-sized novels and then a larger one for hardcover and larger books. I like to display my favorite books as well as any ones that have particularly pretty covers. I currently have my leatherbound version of A Little Princess on display (see picture 2).
Bookstands are a great way to turn books into decor and pieces of art. The stands themselves can even be pretty! Mine feature swirl designs on the back and in the front to hold the book in place. My third picture shows the swirl details as well as the difference in size between the small and large sizes. They require absolutely no assembly and stand on any flat surface :)
I know I own some books with some really impressive cover art, or illustrations that I`m personally fond of. My fourth picture details just how nice those books can look (also, the small and large sizes next to each other with books on them). The next thing to do is decide where you want to display your books. They can really add dimension to a shelf or table and make for a great talking piece, too!
Small book display: $3.99
Large book display: $5.99
The displays are super cheap but heavy-weighted (quality!) and sturdy. They`re well worth it! Now you can feature your favorite pieces of literature instead of hiding them away on a shelf only to be noticed by the spine.
What books would you put on display? :)
