This post is quite overdue, I went to Disneyland and California Adventure sometime during my winter break, which ended 3 weeks ago. The pictures aren`t in any particular since I used 2 different cameras lol so I`m sorry if it seems really jumbled and confusing.
Despite having lived in Los Angeles for almost 20 years, and living 25 minutes away from Disneyland, this was the first time I`ve been back since the 6th grade! My friends wanted to go before we started school and I more than up for it! We got park hopper tickets so we could visit both parks. The tickets were $105 which was way more than the $60 I paid when I was in 6th grade!!!!! Oh well, it was totally worth it :].
The first thing we did was run over to California Adventure to get fast pass tickets for the World of Color. After we got those, we went on the roller coaster right when it opened. Luckily for us, we got on right before the roller coaster broke down. The next thing we did was go on the Hollywood Tower of Terror since there wasn`t that long of a line. We went on a bunch of other random rides and then headed over to Disneyland.
Disneyland was sooo much more packed. We got there right as the early parade started and watched part of that before getting on the rides. Everything was winter themed so it added a cute touch to the rides, especially Small World. We got a bunch of fast passes to the popular rides since the average wait time was 90 minutes for everything -___-. Unfortunately, Space Mountain broke down right as we go there so we left.
After a couple of hours, we went back to California Adventure for the world of color. It was longer than the normal one since they added in an extra part at the beginning promoting some movie. After the world of color we went back to Disneyland for the fireworks. Plus there was gingerbread scented "snow"! Since we still had like 2 hours before the park closed, we decided to get on some more rides. Luckily Space Mountain was re-opened, but there was still a super long wait.
After 15 hours of walking around both parks and waiting in countless lines, we left completely tired. It was totally worth it though. I need to pick up a annual pass and come more often :]. Plus it would be a lot cheaper than buying tickets each time I go. So if you`re ever in LA, definitely stop by Disneyland and California Adventure! My next goal is to go to the Disneyland in Florida!!
