This is definitely not your average restaurant!
While most restaurants I know do their best to not have any dirt in their kitchen, there is a restaurant in Tokyo that is putting dirt into their food!
They have an entire 6 course meal that centers around dirt as one of the ingredients. Imagine seeing that on Iron Chef! LOL
It`s a French place, called Ne Quittez Pas which means "please don`t leave" which you may be tempted to do once you hear about the dirt in your food!
A rep says "The dirt is called Kuro Tsuchi and it`s volcanic ashes mixed with soil and plants from the Kanto District in Japan. It has good bacteria, healthy minerals, and is natural and pure."
In the picture you can see a salad with dirt dressing, a dirt risotto with fish, a dirt gratin and dirt ice cream for dessert!
Apparently, you can`t taste any dirt or grain-y feeling in the food, but I think the idea creeps me out too much to even try!
what do you think? Will you be eating a dirt dinner any time soon?
