Tonight was the first time I put my slow cooker to use. I`ve had it for awhile now, but I just haven`t had the time to look up recipes and whatnot. Though, slowly I was collecting different recipes and I figured it was about time to give one of them a try. I went with a recipe I found on http://allrecipes.com. It`s the Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue recipe and it`s super easy because it doesn`t require a lot of ingredients. I`ll link the original recipe down below in the source. I think this recipe is great because you can easily change the flavor by using a different type of barbecue sauce.

- Skinless and boneless chicken breast halves
- Barbecue sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray`s Sweet `n Spicy Barbecue Sauce.)
- Italian salad dressing (I used Wishbone Italian Dressing.)
- Brown sugar
- Worcestershire sauce

I originally wanted to shred the chicken and serve it on hamburger buns with cole slaw, but I forgot to buy buns the last time I went grocery shopping :( . So I decided to serve it with some mashed potatoes on the side. The mashed potatoes are the instant kind from the brand Idahoan. The one I picked up is the Roasted Garlic flavor. The chicken is actually super tender so when I was trying to remove it from the pot it just sort of fell apart. Next time, I`m definitely shredding the chicken after it`s cooked and then returning it to the pot so it can soak up more of the sauce.
