Last night my roommate and I were too lazy to cook dinner because we had a meeting that lasted quite awhile. Plus, we still need to go grocery shopping so our fridge is pretty empty of food lol. We ended up making a pizza because we had a pizza crust and a lot of leftover things that could be used as toppings. The pizza crust is just one of those pre-made ones that you can find at Ralphs. They`re not the best, but when you`re in a time crunch they`re good enough. All of our toppings are things that we already had in our fridge. Making pizzas is a great way to get rid of leftover meat or veggies.
<dd>- Mini-Meatball pasta sauce (leftover from when I made pasta)
- Colby-Pepper Jack
- Mild Cheddar
- Mozzarella (we really like cheese on our pizzas lol)
- Onions (only on my roommate`s side because I didn`t feel like eating onions)
- Sundried tomatoes
- Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
We managed to get rid of a jar of pasta sauce, a bag of cheese, and half a can of corn. The pizza baked at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes. It was piping hot when we pulled it out of the oven. I ate my side of the pizza with Hot and Sweet Jalapeno Slices (my all-time favorite jalapenos). We killed almost the whole pizza. We did end up leaving two slices of pizza because we figured we can heat it up tomorrow for a quick breakfast or lunch :) .
