Last night I decided to make a Korean dish for dinner: ddukbokki. This is one of my favorite Korean dishes and I always order it when I go drinking with my friends at Korean bars. The original recipe is from one of my favorite Korean cooking website: http://Maangchi.com. I`ll link the original recipe in the source below.

- Rice cakes (Dduk)
- Hot pepper paste (Gochujang)
- Chicken stock
- Green onions

It`s a really simple dish to make. First, I brought the chicken stock up to a boil. Once it was boiling I added the hot pepper paste, sugar, and rice cakes. After stirring the rice cakes around for a few seconds I added some green onion. After all the ingredients are added all you have to do is keep an eye on it and stir it every once in awhile. Soon the sauce will thicken and the rice cakes will have a glistening look to them. That`s when you know it`s done :) .

- Fish cake
- Boiled eggs
- Sesame seeds
- Cheese (preferably mozzarella)

A few minutes before the sauce thickens I added the strips of fish cake. I plated the dish with an addition of two boiled eggs. I sprinkled some sesame seeds on top and also a generous helping of grated cheese. I only had a Mexican blend, but I think mozzarella is the best cheese to use because of the taste and it also melts very nicely.
