For dinner tonight, my mom made the family a bowl of pho. I love eating pho on cold days and while it wasn`t as cold in my area, it still made a delicious dinner. I`ve never really ventured off when it comes to pho as I always order pho tai (pho with rare beef slices) but occasionally I`ll get tripe in mine, which is what the rest of the family had in there but none for me tonight. I`m still getting use to the taste and texture of tripe and its slowly growing on me. As for the garnishes, we actually didn`t have bean sprouts! It almost felt kind of wrong not having it in my pho lol. Mom thought we still had a bag in the fridge but nope, there was none. But to make up for it, I had extra scallions and it really gave a nice flavor to the broth. Do you like pho? What do you usually have in your pho?
