Tonight I was in the mood for pasta again being a huge fan of pasta. I havent had any in a little while so when it was time for me to make dinner, I went searching my cabinets to see what pasta I had. Turns out I had some Fettuccini so Fettuccini it was. It was kind of late when I made dinner and I was pretty tired so I wanted to make something basic and delicious that wouldnt take me all night to cook. So I ended up making some pan seared chicken breast with the pasta and calling it a night.
For the chicken, I sliced 3 boneless chicken breasts in half the long way. I seasoned them up with some sea salt, black pepper, italian seasoning, and montreal chicken season. I then pan seared them in olive oil for about 5-7 minutes on both sides.
While the chicken was cooking I boiled some water and cooked my pasta. I then drained the water and added some butter, garlic powder, sea salt, parsley, and black pepper.
For plating, I just put the pasta on the plate (well, I had a bowl my fiance had a plate) and sliced the chicken breast into bitesize pieces and put it on top of the pasta.
Simple, easy, affordable and deliciousperfect!
