Dinner: Bacon-Wrapped Salmon With Veggies

Tonight was my night to cook dinner and I had no idea what to make. I knew I had a bunch of random ingredients in my kitchen, but I wasn`t sure what to put together to create a dish. So I searched for salmon recipes on http://allrecipes.com/ because I had a bunch of salmon in my freezer. I found two recipes that I was interested in and I went with the one with bacon because I also had a bunch of bacon that I wanted to use up before it expires. I`ll link the original recipe in the source below :) . I followed the recipe pretty much exactly. The only thing I omitted was the dried dill weed because I didn`t have it on hand.

- Salmon - Garlic powder - Salt and pepper to taste - Bacon
I preheated the oven to 375 degrees and started to prepare my salmon. The preparation is super easy and fast. All I had to do was sprinkle the garlic powder, salt, and pepper on the salmon. Then I cut a strip of bacon in half and covered the top of the salmon with it and making sure not to overlap the bacon. I baked the salmon for about 20 minutes. The salmon was cooked quite nicely after 20 minutes. Although, I do wish the bacon was a little bit crispier because that`s how I like my bacon. My roommate, on the other hand, thought the bacon was cooked just right. Right before eating, I also squeezed a little bit of lemon on top to add more flavor. Plus, I can`t eat seafood without adding a little bit of lemon. It really enhances the flavor. For my side I just boiled some frozen veggies: carrots, corns, peas, and string beans.
