**** Picture belongs to me, do not take without my permission ****
I met up with a close friend of mine the other day, and I ended up going for hot pot with her! All you can eat! I`ve never actually got to a restaurant that served Hot Pot before. I usually only make it at home with the family. Even then, we don`t have all the food that the all you can eat offers. So it was new and exciting for me.
I`m not good with spicy, so I went with a simple chicken broth. My friend on the other hand, loooves spicy, so she went all out and ordered a spicy broth. You can tell hers is on the right.
We had noodles, fish balls, chicken wings, tofu, and a lot more.
For dessert, (unfortunately, I didn`t get a picture) I got a bunch of fresh cut fruit. Watermelon, cantaloupe, and honey dew. My favourites.
Overall, it was a very good dinner. It was $20 per person. It can seem rather expensive to some, but I thought it was pretty good. I haven`t been to one before, and likely won`t go again for a long while, so $20 was reasonable. Especially for all you can eat. Can`t wait to go again.
Have you guys had Hot Pot before? Favourite dishes?
Any good Hot Pot places you would recommend, if you`re from Toronto?
