In filipino delicacy, we have something that`s called <strong>turon.</strong> It has no english translation, but I can best describe it as a deep-fried sweet banana eggroll. So basically, we wrap a quarter (or sometimes half) of a banana in an eggroll wrapper with some sugar, and deep fry it. The result is a sugar-coated eggroll with banana filling. We also sometimes add jackfruit inside. If you have not tried this yet, you are missing out!!
