About a month ago, I purchased myself a Dell Inspiron 14z Ultrabook for school. I needed something portable and affordable that I can bring to school and take notes/study/research/do homework on.
Specs about the laptop:
Only 0.8" inch
Only 4.12 lbs
3rd Generation Intel Core (up to 2.6GHz)
Windows 7 Home Premium
14" High Definition LED display
Stereo Speakers with Waves MaxxAudio® 4 with Skullcandy speakers

What`s great about the laptop?
On the Dell website this laptop I got goes for $899.99 but at Costco, it was $849.99 plus a $150 discount = $699.99 because I got it on sale so I ended up paying the same amount for the standard Dell Inspiron 14z, yay for saving at Costco.
I really like the laptop so far (it`s been a little over a month), I haven`t experienced any problems. I have just been using this ultrabook/laptop exclusively for school (homework, research, notes, essays and what not) so I haven`t experienced problems because I cannot afraid to get viruses!
Light weight, compact, easy to carry in my backpack or laptop case
Bright screen/ love the LED display
Decent battery life
A lot of software I`m not going to use is installed
Touch pad isn`t that great
Overall: I think I got a good deal but would I consider buying this full price? Probably not but it was the cheapest yet most sleek out of all and since I`m only using this for school, I think it`s pretty reasonable. Despite the cons, I can deal with it.
Want the same laptop?
Yes, photo belongs to me. (I am comparing my Apple iPhone 3GS to the laptop and it`s not that bad (thickness wise)
