My friends and I went to a Thai place in San Francisco over winter break. It has been a really long time since we`d all been together and we originally planned to go to a sushi burrito place, but after over a hour`s time of trying to get there and find parking, we called the place and learned they were closed until after the New Year. </strong>So big tip: Always call an unfamiliar restaurant in a faraway place ahead of time to check if they`re actually open. </strong>
So my friend took us a to Thai place. There were six of us, so we each ordered a different dish; this way we could try more things. Among time were these shrimp eggrolls. It`s a honey glazed shrimp in an egg roll shell with sweet and sour sauce on the side. The crispy shell is so good around the juicy, tender shrimp. The sweet and sour sauce add some zest and flavor to it. This plate was about $6, a little pricey, but well worth it. We also ordered mango fried rice, curry rice, and pad thai. All of which was amazing, I highly recommend Marnee Thai in San Francisco.
