I made some almond bark. I toasted about a cup of almonds at 400 F degrees for about 10 minutes on parchment paper. While the almonds were toasting I melt 12 ounces of chocolate chips in the microwave at 80% power in 30 second intervals. I stirred the melted chocolate and zapped it in the microwave it until was smooth. I poured the melted chocolate over the almonds on a parchment lined pan. I put the pan in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to set the candy. Almond bark will make a great gift. Make some today and ENJOY!
