This is the first Deborah Lippman polish that I have ever bought. I wasn`t planning on buying Deborah Lippman polishes because yes, they are $14 (though that is significantly less than the $23 Dior polish I bought) but I absolutely fell in love with this color when I saw it on Hollyannaeree`s nails on youtube. FELL IN LOVE. So I bought it anyways.
I actually bought it from ebay (like pretty much most of the things I buy). It`s a beautiful bright color, PERFECT for spring and summer. It`s like a beautiful cerulean blue. So gorgeous. Great cream finish. It needs 3 coats to be opaque but still, beautiful color.
I do have a complaint, not about On The Beach, but Deborah Lippman polishes in general. I dunno whether its because I just opened the polish or something but the brush sucks. . .it never spread out and it didn`t apply evenly. Maybe I`m doing something wrong but I paint my nails a lot and don`t usually have this problem so I don`t think so. Then again it is one of those thin brushes (kind of like the ones Essie has and I don`t really like those either) and in my opinion, they don`t work well. I always like OPI and Dior brushes.
However I put aside my hatred of the brush because the color totally wins me over. So gorgeous I can`t get over it. <3 I don`t think I`ll be getting too many Deborah Lippman polishes soon though because of the brushes. . .
