This is my second day of wearing the ELF flawless finish foundation. I purchased this product in the shade "buff". It is an oil free foundation that retails for $6.00 on http://Eyeslipsface.com or your local Target. For skin reference, I`m an NC42 in the summer and an NC40 throughout the colder seasons, I have combination oily skin that is acne prone and sensitive.
So far, I`m impressed with this foundation. It`s definitely not up to par with my Neutrogena Healthy skin or Revlon Colorstay but I`m not sure if I can compare it equally in general because it feels so different on my skin.
1.) It has a gel like formula-- similar to asian BB creams.
2.) Its medium to full coverage and definitely creates a flawless finish.
3.) It`s not matte, but its not dewy. It`s an in between of matte and satin.
4.) It`s only $6.00?! (Great price for a decent foundation)
5.) It has a grey undertone (similar to other BB creams), I`m not sure if I love it or hate it yet.
6.) No breakouts yet
7.) Needs blotting after ~4 hours (pretty good for my skin type on hot days)
8.) You REALLY need to blend this out. Make sure you have a VERY dense brush, the SIGMA stippling brushes will not cut it. I had to use the ELF flat top powder brush to really buff and blend it into my skin.
9.) Great packaging: glass foundation bottle, looks very high end and comes with a pump.
Overall, as of testing it out on day 2, I would have to say I`m pretty impressed with this. I can`t give it a thorough review yet because its so different from other foundations I have tried in the past.
