Yesterday I posted about finding a Latte Mug from David`s Tea for 40% on Boxing Day. Well I went to another location today and I found their tea gift box from last winter`s collection called The Holiday Collection: A Box Of Festivity that was also 40% off. I find it a bit strange that they would still sell tea from a year ago but I guess you could say that tea does not exactly spoil like other things.
-I have seen this last year when I was Christmas shopping but I did not bother picking it up since I prefer to buy my teas in larger tins.
-Flavours: From left to right, the teas in this gift box are: Gingerbread, Sleigh Ride, Santa`s Secret. Gingerbread is a rooibos tea with flavours of: cinnamon, cookie, ginger, nutmeg, cake, spices, honey, maple, butter, molasses, and caramel. It seems like this tea is not available this year, and EggNog may have replaced it in this year`s holiday teas. Sleigh Ride is a herbal tea with flavours of: Apple, hibiscus blossoms, pineapple, papaya, beetroot, cinnamon, raisins, coconut, roasted almonds, and popped rice. This tea is available again this year. And lastly, Santa`s Secret has been a long time favourite for David`s Tea lovers. Personally I have not tried it but I think the tiny candy cane shaped sprinkles are adorable. This is a black tea with flavours of peppermint sprinkles. This tea is also available this year.
-Size: The whole set is 127 g or 4.4 oz. It is not a huge amount of tea, but it is a great sample set for those who are interested in trying a variety of their tea without the whole commitment part of buying 50g or more of each tea.
-Price: Originally this set was $19.50 CAD but with 40% off, it was $11.70 before taxes.
Overall, it is nice to have bought tea at 40% off and I am excited to try these holiday teas before the holidays are over. I am most interested in trying Santa`s Secret since it has been a `Fan Favourite.`
