I`m a huge fan of David`s Tea or any tea in general. So having tea filters is a must if you don`t want tea leaves every time you take a sip. Even though I shop often at David`s Tea, it never occurred to me to use their tea filters. I`ve been using Teavana`s. However I never really liked Teavana`s filters since you can`t seal them which kinda defeated the purpose of the tea filter.
So I stopped by David`s Tea just to pick up these filters, since the line to select loose leaf tea was too long! At first I couldn`t find the filters since they weren`t in their usual spot, and also because they changed the packaging for a more festive look instead. In the whole store there was only five packs left, so I decided to get two packs just in case they don`t have any in stock the next time I go back.
-Packaging: I think the holiday packaging is really cute. The background is green with tiny trees dressed in different patterns. Each box contains 100 tea filters.
-Filters: What sold me on buying these was that these filters could be sealed, meaning that they have a string that you can pull to close the little baggy. The tea filter is shaped like a cup which is also really cute! If you were planning to steep a cup of tea, I find that these filters were on the larger side since it was meant to include steeping pots of tea. I wished they would make two different sizes of tea filters: single servings and multiple servings. I just think it`s a `waste` of material since one large filter could probably make two smaller ones. I was surprised to see that the filters were a brown colour instead of white mainly because most filters I see are white like coffee filters and the tea filters I use from Teavana.
-Price: One box is $9.50 and you get 100 filters which is not bad.
Overall, I`m glad with my purchase and happy to know that there were a few boxes left. If there weren`t any left, I`d probably think it was a waste of time stopping by ha.
Do you like David`s Tea?
