I`ve been running low on David`s Tea Pumpkin Chai (my all time favourite tea from them) and been waiting to finish it completely before buying more. But last week, David`s Tea was having a promotion for in stores only of Buy 2 teas of 100g or more and Get 1 100g of tea of equal or less value for free! So I knew I`d have to stock up on some Pumpkin Chai since it`s a seasonal tea that`s sold out online now.
What I Got & First Impressions:
- Pumpkin Chai X 2: I have tried quite a few teas from David`s Tea but I fell in love with this instantly when I first tried it this fall. For this tea, they added the perfect touch of sweetness (from the caramel and pumpkin sprinkles) such that you could really drink it straight, but I generally enjoy my chai sweeter so I add honey. For most, this wold be a seasonal Fall tea, but for me I could drink this year round. So with that, I knew I had to pick up at least one tin of this, but ended up getting two since I think two tins would last me until next fall when this tea comes out again. One tin was paid at regular price ($15.30 CAD) but I got the other tin of equal value for free. Yaay, free tea! :)
- Matcha Matsu: I have heard so many good things about Matcha, especially Match Lattes in general, but I never really took the opportunity to try one. From what Ive read, companies that make Green Tea Flavoured ice cream, candy, chocolate, etc. use Matcha to create this flavour. So I decided it was finally time to give Matcha a try, and who knows, I possibly could end up using this to create all wonderful things flavoured like green tea. If you dont know what Matcha is, its basically powered green tea, meaning that the leaves are crushed so finely that its in a powder form. It is said that there are more benefits from Matcha since you are basically consuming the whole leaf of green tea! I am really excited to give this a try since I have not tried powered tea before. One tin of 100g is $29.50 CAD, which is a lot more than your standard tea.
Overall, I am glad to have waited for this promotion to pick up some more tea since I basically got one tin of my favourite tea for free! :)
Whats your favourite tea?
