Dash Berlin has made some of my favorite Trance tracks of the past few years and I`m so glad that they continue to find success in music. What do you guys think about them?
Dash Berlin is a 3-piece progressive tranceproject consisting of Jeffrey Sutorius(DJ), Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn.
Each member of the group had grown up interested in electronic music from a young age and had individually had some success within the industry as DJs and producers for several years prior to meeting, but nothing close to what they have accomplished together in a few short years. In 2007, the three came together as close friends and decided to start working together on some tracks, which was the beginnings of the now Dash Berlin.
They wasted no time at all as their breakthrough came that same exact year with their first released track titled Till the Sky Falls Down. The track reached the top of the Trance music charts worldwide, due in part to Armin van Buuren who included it on the third chapter of his acclaimed Universal Religion mix album, and then subsequently signed Dash Berlin to his Armada Music label.
In early 2009 plans emerge to expand the Dash Berlin influence with their own label named Aropa, that they use to release their first full length album titled "The New Daylight," which contains the mega hit tracks Till the Sky Falls Down, Man on the Run, Waiting and Never Cry Again. The "Waiting" single was elected by the audience of Armin Van Buuren`s hit weekly radio broadcast "A State of Trance" to the second best Trance track of the year 2009 and the music video gains over nine million views on YouTube.Their debut album launches them onto a worldwide tour and to the top of the Trance music world almost overnight.
In 2010, Dash Berlin made their way onto the DJ Mag Top 100 Chart, debuting at #15 and then launched even further into #8 in 2011.
Needless to say, this sky is the limit for this Trance trio as they have had an amazing run in a very short time and I`m sure they have much more in store for their fans in 2012 and beyond.
