Dad made Banh Xeo for Lunch!

My dad`s a real food junkie but he always blames that the food he makes is "actually" for my mom and I but really he is craving for the food. For Memorial`s Day lunch instead of grilling, bbq-ing and all that good stuff we had <strong>sizzling cake</strong> also known as "bánh xèo" in Vietnamese or you can also call these Vietnamese savory fried pancakes.

What`s in a bánh xèo?
(It`s all up to you but what we used:)

Rice flour, water, turmeric powder
Pork, shrimp
Diced green onions, white onions
Bean sprout
Mung beans

Served with:
Mint leaves
Japanese cucumbers
Fresh herbs
Special made fish sauce for dipping

If you never tried bánh xèo then you should totally try it sometime. I used to dislike bánh xèo but now I really like it after eating it so many times at my boyfriend`s.

<strong>Have you ever made bánh xèo before?</strong> My dad says it`s fairly easy since you don`t need many ingredients but it took him like an hour to make 8 because you have to make each pancake one by one and served hot tastes better.
