this nail polish is one that i feel like everyone owns, either as "scandalous" or as "facets of fuchsia." both are supposed to be dupes of deborah lippman bad romance, though i haven`t even seen bad romance in person so i can`t tell you. all i know is that i got this from target a while back because i had a coupon and because it`s a gorgeous shade. i`ve seen a lot of posts on luuux about it and i had to get it!
scandalous is a purple glitter polish. the glitters are actually silver as i`ve noticed. i`ve worn this polish for a couple of days now and some of the parts where the purple has chipped off has revealed the silver glitter.
i noticed some people wearing a black polish under scandalous to make it look more opaque. i used OPI`s lincoln park at midnight and i really like the combination. i didn`t even try the glitter on its own so i can`t attest to its opacity. when i put it on over lincoln park at midnight, it didn`t seem like a polish that would require too many coats on its own for opacity.
i noticed some other luuuxers posting at the end of their NOTD and current nails posts a summary of what`s actually on their nails and i always find that to be really helpful, so i`m going to start doing that now too :)
