I usually make chili on the stovetop, but I have been using my crockpot a lot lately and decided to try a new chili recipe with it. This turned out really good and using the crockpot made the flavors really merge together in a delicious way. It was so easy too! I browned a package of ground beef on the stove top and dumped it in the crockpot. Then I dumped in 2 cans of beans, 2 big cans of stewed tomatoes and a can of tomato sauce. I also added a few spices like cumin and chili powder. It is quick to warm a bowl up and top with some shredded cheese and sour cream.
