Create a Bedside Sanctuary !

There is nothing more relaxing than coming home from a long day of work (or school), than laying in bed with a great book and candles burning on your bedside. Regardless of the square footage, your room should function as your sanctuary. What better way to get a sense of calmness and relaxation than a few candles (Preferably those from Bath and Body Works)?

While thrifting a few months back, I came across a really nice silver plated tray by Ralph Lauren for only 99 cents. I couldn`t think of what to use it for right away but I purchased it anyway because I knew it would be useful to me someday somehow. For a few weeks it lived on my bathroom vanity begging to be used in a different room. Then I switched it to the guest room, where my husband decided to use it for his colognes. It wasn`t long before it ended up abandoned in the closet....until now.

This time I decided to use it as a candle tray! The candle already looked pretty on its own but I thought adding a tray would give it a little something extra. I also placed my eos lip balm on it as well as a bedroom spray (also from Bath and Body Works).

Hit up your thrift stores to see if you can find any trays you can use for your candles (or any store where candles and decor are sold). Do you have something similar to my set up in your bedroom?
