Hey Luuuxers! I wanted to share with you a dinner I had a few nights ago. I was too lazy to cook anything spectacular so I went for the easy Spaghetti. However, I make my spaghetti a little differently, just because I like to make my own version of the American classic. Here`s what I used for the sauce:
-Prego tomato sauce (1 1/2 cups)
-Cream Cheese (about 2-3 tablespoons)
-Butter (1 tbsp)
-Diced Onions and minced garlic (optional)
-1 tbsp sugar
-Large pinch of red pepper flakes
I sauteed the onions and garlic for a few minutes with the butter, then I added everything else. The cream cheese should give it a nice creamy consistency. It sounds weird, but it`s my favorite. lol Usually I add some spinach into the sauce before I serve just to get some added vitamins and nutrients to make it healthier, but you can add whatever you want.
Then the next thing i did was boil some Korean noodles instead of spaghetti. I`ve never really like the texture (or taste) of regular spaghetti so I buy Korean noodles similar to this:
It has a nice chewy texture and tastes much better with the sauce in my opinion. So let me know if you tried this because it`s my favorite!
