I was in Berkley today to meet up with someone and to also pick up something so of course while I was there I had to stop by C.R.E.A.M to get an ice cream sandwich. C.R.E.A.M stands for Cookie Rule Everything Around Me and it`s a really small place in Berkley off of Telegraph Avenue and they are most known for their ice cream sandwiches. They bake their own cookies fresh and from scratch and actually when you walk into the small shop it`s super hot because of all the ovens full of cookies but it smells so good. They also make their own ice cream, but besides their ice cream sandwiches they also sell milkshakes, floats, cookies, malts, and ice cream.
How it works is that there are several different flavors of ice cream and cookies and you can customize what you want. I ended up getting the double chocolate chip cookies with white pistachio ice cream. You can mix and match different cookies and ice cream and it`s a pretty decent size and it`s only $2. Their cookies are soft and chewy and the ice cream is at the perfect softness so you can eat it right away unlike those ice cream sandwiches you get at the grocery store that`s been sitting in their freezer for god knows how long and you have to let it thaw out before you take a bite. lol do you know what I mean or is it just me?
Anyways this place is really good and you can customize it to your liking. I definitely recommend hitting up this place if your ever in Berkley!
