Craving Junk? Healthy Swaps

Carving gummie bears? Chocolate? That bag of Doritos in your pantry? Try swapping these unhealthy, diet destroying snacks for more nutritious beneficial snacks.

Craving gummie bears? (sweets):
Let get you in on a little secret, most candy is flavored after fruit. Why not eat the actual fruit? Fruit is completely natural (well organic is), nutritious and packed with vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Oh that fiber! Fiber helps you stay fuller longer, meaning you eat less. Don`t settle for candy; its filled with simple carbs such as sugar that don`t crunch hunger and will destroy that bikini body you have been working so hard to get.

Craving salty?
Wanting to reach for that bag of potato? STOP! Go for a bag of butterless popcorn. Add any spices you like for an extra kick. This should satisfy the craving for potato chips. Ever heard of kale chips? Yes kale chips, all it is is kale, pinch of salt, and olive oil, put it in the oven until crispy in 275 degrees and WALA, healthy three ingredient chips at home.

Other Yummy Snacks I love:
Apple wedges with salt
Banana and peanut butter sandwich
Carrots, celery and humus
Green Juice
Greek Yogurt...etc..
