Hello lovely Luuuxers!
Lately I`ve been really into doing more cool-toned looks on my eyes. I feel like cool makeup in general is really trendy right now and I`m digging it! I put together a coolish-toned eyeshadow look with a fun new bold berry lipstick, so I thought I would give a tutorial on this look, from beginning to end!
Lately my face has been all Laura Mercier, all the time! I`ve found that all LM products work super well in conjunction to each other, and also work especially well with my red, large-pored, combination skin.
But before I could even out my skin, I corrected under my eyes, starting with the Smashbox Photo Finish Undereye Primer and then applying the Bobbi Brown Corrector in Porcelain Peach. Then, I primed my skin using the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, evened out my tone using Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation and setting it all with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder (which has quickly become a holy grail product!)
To add some color to my face, I first bronzed using my Physicians Formula Powder Palette in Healthy Glow Bronzer. I feel like this is an awesome matte bronzer that doesn`t get a whole lot of love because it is amazing and the perfect tone for my fair skin to bronze or contour! Then, I blushed using Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed which is a beautiful neutral rose blush that has great pigmentation and lasting power. Finally, I used a fluffy brush to lightly highlight my cheeks using Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal.
To prime my lids, I first used my LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer, and then added a shimmery taupe base, the ELF Smudge Pot in Cruisin` Chic. This is one of my all time favorite cream eye shadows, it`s just as great as my high-end ones--even better than some!
I then pulled out my LORAC Unzipped Palette which is one of my all time favorites, and one that I`ve been using a ton lately. This palette has gorgeous rosy toned neutral shadows, and when paired on top of the taupe cream shadow, it creates a beautiful cool-toned look. All over the lid, I used the shade called Uncensored and then in the crease and on the lower lash line, I used Unconditional, a mauve matte shade. Finally, using my finger, I tapped Unbelieveable onto the center of the lid and onto the inner corner to add brightness.
For eyeliner, I used one of my old standbys, my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper to add a nice crisp line with a slight wing. Then, for mascara, I used one of my favorite high-end mascaras, Buxom Lash, which gives me amazing length and definition. I took care of my eyebrows (though I didn`t do a very good job this time...) using my Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown.
Now for my favorite part--LIPSTICK! I first lined my lips using my NYX Retractable Lip Liner in Plum. Then, I used a new lipstick in my collection: Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Kir Royale. This lipstick is limited edition, and I received for free as a 250-point perk at Sephora, along with a matching lip gloss. You can also buy it in the full-size currently. I`m a huge fan of the formula of these lipsticks, as well as Bite Beauty products in general. The pigmentation of this lipstick is insane, but it is not super messy either. It dries down to a satin finish, meaning it does not slide around or transfer to things easily, but it also is not so matte that it is drying. My lips feel so comfortable with this lipstick and it lasts for quite a long time without having to touch up! If you are looking for a deep, yet vibrant berry lip color, this one is highly recommended!
That`s it for this entire makeup look! I hope you all found a bit of inspiration! The products I used for this look are some of my all time favorites, especially the foundation and powder, the LORAC palette, and the lipstick. Are any of these products some of your favorite Fall products? Let me know in the comments! :)
