Some year ago i went to visit the Convent of Christ, in Tomar, Portugal.
It`s a monument classified as mundial patrimony by UNESCO, and it belonged to Order of the Templars.
A thing you immediately observe, would be the gorgeous architecture, with several traces: Gothic, Manueline (typical Portuguese architecture), Renaissance, Mannerist and Baroque.
There was also a small nice garden (as you can see in picture 3)
A typical Portuguese art thing you can see are the tiles (picture 5)
there was also a church. With beautiful and detailed pictures. However, quality of image is not very good, sorry about that (see pic 6)
Added to all its intrinsec beauty, you would also be surrounded by a beautiful view!
