Conrads Turkey Club wrap
Ive been posting a lot about my recent trip to LA: I took a trip to Los Angeles with my family for my cousins wedding this summer. I was last there in November and I was excited to go back since there were a lot of things I didnt get to do on my last trip.
Last time, I was staying with my friend in Hollywood, but this time, I was staying with my entire family at the Hilton in Glendale. It was really convenient since it was only a couple of minutes away from the Americana and the Glendale Galleria. There were also a few restaurants just down the street from the hotel that we could easily walk to.
One of the closest restaurants that we ended up going to dinner at one night was a family restaurant called Conrads. It was kinda like an old school family diner, but they also had dining room section as well. You could tell that the place had been around for a while. It was really old school and kinda run down, but in a cool kinda way.
Anyways, they had a huge menu with all sorts of items, but I settled on the Turkey Club Wrap and a side of sweet potato fries. As you can tell the portion was HUGE! Im mean I know in US the food portions tend to be a lot bigger than they are in Canada, but this thing was MASSIVE! It had tons of lettuce and tomatoes with big chucks of turkey and bacon in the middle. It was so big, that my mom and I ended up splitting it, since she only ordered soup, and I couldnt finish it!
The best part was the crispy sweet potato fries, which are my favourite!
