On to the post:
Soooo....I think my holy grail list might undergo an overhaul soon. Don`t quote me on that just yet...but be on the lookout. I recently subscribed to Naptural85 on YouTube and was really astounded to find that she only uses like 3 products on her hair; shea butter, oils, and flax seed gel (and water...but I don`t count that as a product). She shared this interesting point, one shouldn`t `need` a certain product from a certain hair line in order to have a good hair day. Products shouldn`t be necessities but seen as a luxury, for lack of a better word. I agree with this sentiment. When I began my hair journey, I made more of the things I put in my hair and my curls flourished. Why did I stop? Who knows? But I will become a natural hair chemist once again! On my to buy list are: Teressentials Lavender Mudwash, Darcy`s Botanicals sweet cocoa bean styling cream and Camille Rose almond Jai Twisting butter. All of 3 things are all natural and the Mudwash is not only natural but organic, too! Oh yeah, I have been also using greek yogurt and rosemary essential as my deep conditioner. I know...total hippy. But hey, I picked that up from Whitney (Naptural85) as well. so, y`know...blame her, lol! (J/k)
Until next time...
