I was at Winners today looking for DC shoes after I saw them the other day at the Winners at First Markham Place. I love DC Shoes and after seeing them for $24.99 - $39.99 at Winners, I wanted to find a pair I loved. =)
While looking down the aisles, I noticed this on the shelf. I`ve seen it at Sephora selling for $32 a regular jar but this was 2 full-sized jars for $19.99! That was a complete steal!
I`m not fat by any means, I`m 5`6 (167 cm) and 98 lbs, I have dancer abs and my thighs never touched. But I bloat a lot, from gas and water retention. Even with BCP, it doesn`t help a whole lot with water retention during that time of the month. I`ve been to at least 10 doctors around the world, both Western, surgeons, specialists and Chinese doctors, in the past 2 years and none of them could find out what was causing the bloating. On paper, I`m one of the healthiest people in the world. All I knew was it my mum and sister have stomach problems, especially with bloating so it may be a genetic thing. The last photo is my stomach on a regular day.
I have stretch marks and loose skin because of the constant bloating and no amount of exercise or diet changes would actually help it, because once the skin tightens again, bloating starts and the skin loosens again. And if you`re wondering, I run 5-8 km every other day, I do Insanity, I do HIIT, I do weight training, I do yoga and I follow a 80% healthy 20% indulgent diet.
After reading reviews from Sephora, Ulta, Makeupalley and forums, some said that this would help with the bloating as the FatGirlSlim had caffeine in it. I`m aware that caffeine is a diuretic in the initial stages, only if ingested so I`m not quite sure if this would help the way reviewers say it would.
Now these products have A LOT of mixed reviews and I`m also skeptical of whether or not it would help. But hey, for $20 rather than $64 retail price, I would give this a try just to see if it actually helps with my condition. If not, then I wouldn`t feel so bad for using $20 for a moisturizer.
Have you guys tried this?
