As nowadays a good meal is very important and since

1 onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, crushed

1 cup (tea) of rice

3 cups (tea) water

1 large carrot, grated drain in bulk

1 tbsp (tablespoons) chopped parsley

2 tbsp (tablespoons) roasted cashew nuts and chopped salt to taste


Wash rice and drain.

Place in a saucepan with the onion, garlic, salt and water. Cook over low heat until it begins to dry. Add the carrot and parsley and leave another 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow to finish drying.

Just before serving, sprinkle with cashews.
