I went down to the U.S. a couple of days ago. I always see a lot of amazing drug store beauty products posted by U.S. Luuuxers that are either not available in Canada or really over-priced where I live. So the trip to the U.S was the perfect chance for me to do a little hauling.
I realize that my picture is not very clear, but in the top left corner I have the Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer. It comes in a tube, with a conceal pencil. It claims to be able to cover anything from blemishes to tattoo. I got this product because as much as I like my Maybelline Age Rewind concealer, I needed something more opaque to cover occasional acne.
To the right of the concearl is a Wet n Wild eyeshadow single called "Panther". This shade has full score 5 lippie reviews on Makeupalley and it was only $1.25 so I had to get it.
I also bought a pair of natural looking falsies that are from a brand called Salon Perfect, which I`ve never heard of before. The falsies look almost identical to Ardell`s 110, and they even named it 110.
On the bottom left, I have a Physicians Formula kabuki brush that I got from Ross for $3.59. Although I didn`t read any reviews on it before the purchase, it was a killer deal at less than $4. I`ve been using the brush ever since I got back from the trip. I just LOVE it! It`s extremely soft, and there are so far no bristle fall-outs. I`ve owned a couple of kabuki brushes before, and this is by far the best.
I also got a Sonia Kashuk short-handled smokey eye brush set from target for about $15. I was originally looking for the E.L.F angled contour brush because I heard its flat top is great for blending. However, the Target I visited was sold out of the brush. I was really sad and started walking around aimlessly in Target and then I saw the Sonia Kashuk brush set that contains a similar brush to the E.L.F one, with a flat top! Although $15 is much more expensive than what I would`ve originally had to pay for the E.L.F brush, I do end up with 3 more brushes. LOL but it`s not like I need any more if you`ve read my previous post on my brush collection.
Lastly, also a purchase from Ross, is the Ped Egg. I`ve heard so much about it and really wanted to try it out. I think it does work, but I`m just afraid to go overboard and hurt my heels.
