So I just wanted to quickly post about this exhibit, simply because it was so much more amazing than I ever imagined it would be. I have been to a few exhibits of this type related to Egyptology, but I have to say that this possessed a kind of allure or mystifying touch to it, and the information that is there about Cleopatra, as well as the artifacts, which consist of a lot of her jewelry and magical items (like incense holders and crowns) were kind of inspiring in a fashion sense, I definitely get a lot of unusual and new fashion and make up ideas from things like this that have an ancient and immortal tone to them, as well as the information you walk out of there with.
So yes, if you find yourself in los angeles or live nearby, I would HIGHLY recomend that you check this exhibit out, it is well worth it, and is a great place to go with a friend, or on a date (it`s very dark, and has a kind of underwater theme) so it really has the right setting :P
It`s at the California science center, and you can find tickets on the site. If you do decide to go, the code QUEEN will save you a bit on the ticket (which is not all that much to begin with to be honest) Hope you have fun if you go :D
