I cannot tell you how excited I was to stumble across all of these items on mark down. On Sunday I was at the store and in the cosmetics aisle debating with myself whether or not I should buy the Revlon bronzer that was released for the summer. It was marked a little over $10.00 and I already have and use the Wet n Wild Sunny bronzer so I didn`t know if I really wanted to buy it. I wandered around before ultimately putting it down.
Fast forward to today. I was doing my grocery shopping and saw a HUGE sterilite tub of clearanced cosmetics and beauty products. Of course I had to rummage around through it. My husband and son were getting irritated with me because we had finished shopping and they were waiting for me so we could check out and head home for dinner. MAMA HAS TO LOOK! I would kick myself if I didn`t. I`m so glad I took a few minutes to check it out.
FIRSTLY, I found the bronzer I was looking at last night. BUT, it was only $3. Yes, three dollars! It is called Bronzed & Chic but as far as I know it was the only summer bronzer they released. It has gotten so many good reviews, so I`m pleased to now have it to try out.
From the same collection I found ALL of the creme blushes released for summer. Each blush was marked at only $3.00 so I got them all. I had wanted them all summer but since I have oily skin I couldn`t justify the price. BUT, at $3.00 a pop I can manage. The colors are: Coral Reef, Pinched, and Flushed.
Next, I came across quite a few Maybelline EyeStudio baked shadows. Most of them were broken or in colors I wouldn`t wear. I did find this one, though, in the color Sinful Cinnamon. It has a rusty color to the left and a marbled rust and champagne coloring on the right. I thought this would be especially nice in the fall. This was only ONE DOLLAR! Come on now! I can`t even get a Wet n Wild single shadow for a dollar (unless they`re on sale, of course)
The last actual cosmetic item is the mascara. This was the only item not on sale but I wanted to get it anyway. I have short lashes and so many people said the Maybelline Lash Discovery mascara was perfect for those with short lashes and for the bottom lashes. Oh my goodness, the wand is adorable. It is teeny!
The final items I bought were two OPI nail polishes. I only got these because the price was SO low (even lower than what I can get them for with professional license). They are colors I passed on previously but the price made me go ahead and buy them. They were only $2.00. I got the colors My Boyfriend Scales Walls and I Juggle...Men. I know I can put them to use.
I told you this post would be more fun than the bathroom necessities one! Everyone enjoys getting product for mark-down pricing!
So, did you score any amazing deals this weekend? If you have used any of the products I hauled let me know what your thoughts are.
