I picked this up at the mall, a week ago, after I had seen the way these products had worked for another member of my family. Here is my review:
I used the Body Shop`s Tea Tree Line in order to combat blemishes and remove excess oil by using their refreshing gel-based facial wash that doesn`t over-dry the skin. These products are formulated with Community Trade tea tree oil from Kenya, which naturally fights fight existing blemishes and prevents new ones from forming. Also, the tamanu oil has a soothing effect on the skin and helps to calm irritation and redness. The toner removes traces of cleanser, make-up and impurities while leaving skin looking matte. The lotion hydrates the skin and controls oil while helping to clear and prevent blemishes.
2. Personal Experience
All three of these products contain tea tree oil, which has worked wonders on my skin by killing off acne-causing bacteria and preventing white-heads. However, I would strongly advice those who are already using acne creams prescribed from their dermatologist to not use those in conjunction with this skin care system. I went overboard with my own regimen and experienced very severe rashes, redness, and irritation, which went away as soon as I washed away the product. If you are struggling with acne, and are not currently on any prescribed medication for this problem, give these a try since you can get good deals online (2 for 1, 3 for 2), and I have seen this work for my sister. Although, I do think it is ironic that though these have calming properties, I had broken out in hives after continued use. At this time, I returned the toner and lotion and I`m only using the cleanser which does a great job at gently removing any excess oil and impurities.
