I am one of those people that have super sensitive skin and it really is disappointing. Especially when it comes to jewelry. There are so many beautiful earrings, bracelets, and necklace that I just can`t wear because they make my skin green and black and make me itch. I am able to wear fake earring but for just an hour at most after that my ear gets really itch. Recently I discovered people using clear nail polish as a solution to this mess.
All you do is apply clear nail polish on the part of the earring or ring that will be in contact with your skin. This coat will protect your skin from becoming irritated by the medal. I started doing this after my Jewelmint pieces started giving me a problem. Since then I have done it to all my pieces that are fake and it truly has helped a lot I never thought of something like that like clear nail polish be so useful in such a totally different way.
I have only tried this technique with my earrings as I tend to buy a lot from forever 21. My next thing is going to try them on rings I havent been able to try it out yet because I tend to give the jewelry that irritates me to my cousin. Maybe this weekend I go to forever 21 and pick up a ring or two and see if it works. I am pretty sure it should also work.
Let me know what you guys think?
