The English champions Manchester City are willing to pay 25 million to Liverpool to ensure the hiring of the central Slovakian Martin Skrtel. The Reds, however, are preparing to review the contract of the defense, in order to keep at Anfield.
According to advancing this Thursday the Daily Mirror newspaper, the Citizens are prepared to come to Anfield Road one proposed by the defense of 27 years.
The same paper also states that the Citizens opted to try hiring the Slovak, at the expense of AC Milan`s Brazilian Thiago Silva, which would cost more to the coffers of the club.
Martin Skrtel arrived at Liverpool in 2007 and has a contract with the emblem of Merseyside until June 2014. The most recent reports in England said that the direction the club is preparing to review the contract, trying to prevent his departure.
