Here`s a first hand look at the Cinderella storybook Palette at Sephora. I was really hyped up about this because when I first saw the ad online, the collection seemed super magical.
The palette looks like a huge novel with a pull-out tab on the right side. When you pull it out, the eyeshadows come out. Each eyeshadow is named after remnants of the movie, such as Fairy Godmother.
Unlike other inspired palettes, this one actually contains a decent amount of colors. There are 20 eyeshadows, ranging from base colors to dark shadow colors.
Colors are both playful, natural and seductive so you can create a wide range of looks.
Very beautiful packaging.
$65 - a very good price for so many colors
Packing is quite bulky. I can`t imagine anyone carrying it around with it.
Though versatile, the eyeshadows flake off quite a bit. You need to use an eyeshadow primer.
Limited edition, after the season, you won`t find it again even if you wanted to.
Overall, I think this is a very buy-worthy palette because of the versatile colors that they have. The packaging looks absolutely amazing and the cons can easily be fixed by leaving the palette at home as well as using an eyeshadow primer. For $65, this palette is a complete steal, in my opinion.
Hope that helps.
