Chrsitmas Craft

This pop-out Christmas tree craft can be adjusted for younger children by using markers and for older children by using more elaborate decorations. Decorate your whole home with festive Christmas crafts Create homemade cards, your own Christmas ornaments, tasty Christmas recipes, or just snuggle up together with printable Christmas activities. What you`ll need:2 sheets of green construction paper
White craft glue Scissors Decorations: markers, sequins, glitter, pom poms, stickers, etc. How to make it:Stack two sheets of construction paper together and fold in half the long way
Cut triangles from the open edges of the folded paper to create two trees when the paper is opened. For very young children you can cut a simple triangle shaped tree Starting at the bottom, cut a slit along the center crease, halfway up one of the trees. Start at the top of the other tree, cut a slit along the center crease, halfway down the center
Lay trees flat on work surface and decorate. You can use anything you like (we chose to glue on sequins), just be sure that you use lightweight items. For example, craft jewels would ultimately be too heavy and may weigh down the paper tree not allowing it to stand Allow glue to dry and then turn trees over to decorate the other sides. Once everything is dry, combine the two trees by interlocking the two cuts you made in step 2.
If you would like to add a star, bend half of a gold or silver piece of chenille into a star shape and glue to the top.
