Christmas usually means a lot of cooking these days, but since most of the food at our family celebrations was made by my mother, I decided to make at last one thing this year. And I made some ..lets say Christmas cookies. Although technically, the package was designed for another beloved holiday (at least in the US): Halloween. But in the end, the cupcakes looked so good, with the green frosting, that they were perfect for Christmas.
They are really easy to make, if you have that package, the box already contained the cooking powder, the frosting powder, the cupcakes holders made from paper and the sprinkles. You mix the cooking powder with one egg, 100 ml of milk and 100 ml of cooking oil. After mixing fot about 3 minutes, you put the mix in the cupcake holders, and into the oven for 25 min at 160 degrees Celsius. In the meantime, you can make the frosting, by mixing the green powder with 250 ml of milk. After they are done, make sure they are cold before you put the frosting. Then you can add the orange sprinkles.
They were so good, because they had bubble gum flavor. And the package cost about 2 dollars. It was totally forth it, and I never imagined these could be so perfect for Christmas.
