This is a post that would have gone up in December, but with the shop issues, I gave up on posting since just after Thanksgiving. I`m going to do my best to catch up with the posts that have since gone up on my blog, and get them posted here. The post`s wording is going to be awkward seeing as it was stuff I discussed through the holiday season, but bare with me. I will get to more current posts soon. First, Merry Christmas!....or, nearly! HAHA! We have been quite busy in my household now that Christmas is at our doorstep. I was starting to worry that I wasn`t going to get this post up. (I am having to photograph, edit, and get this blog together from my mother in law`s home...haha!) This is the manicure I am wearing to the get-togethers we are attending on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I started by applying a single coat of Sally Hansen Triple Strong. Next, I swiped on two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White. After that, I applied one coat of AEngland Morgan Le Fay. For the design, I simply used dotting tools in different sizes and China Glaze polishes in Ruby Pumps and Emerald Sparkle. I started with the largest dotting tool, then smaller for the centers and the surrounding dots. I just alternated between the red or green and then white, and back again. The end result is very fun! It looks like bubbles or...in a way...like Christmas ornaments. I sealed everything in with a single coat of Seche Vite. I love Morgan Le Fay over white polishes. It adds a beautiful sparkle without looking like chunks of glitter. It reminds me of fresh fallen snow on the ground, in the way that it glistens. Any microfine glitters would look lovely, though. Seeing as most of my other holiday manicures had quite the bold base to them, I wanted something soft for this one. Though, there was absolutely no way I was going to finish it up without using red and green in some fashion. The design itself probably isn`t the most subtle, but why not blend in with the festivities?!
