Choosing Colours For Your Home

If you have decided to decorate rooms in your home, think carefully before you grab a paint brush. Each different colour of the rainbow can have a different meaning and make you feel a certain way. There is a reason why many people choose to have a neutral kitchen and opt for blues and greens in the bathroom etc. Take a look at great options to choose in a number of rooms in the home: Kitchen For the kitchen neutral colours are good if cooking tends to stress you out, the pretty white mosaic tiles from on image one add a bit of sparkle and texture to the room to give it that extra bit of something. Choosing the colour red for a kitchen can be dangerous if you get carried away, it is the colour of passion and also anger. Bathroom Of course if you are redecorating the bathroom then you need to use white as a base layer as it will give the room that sense of clean. To add a bit of colour, light blue is said to add a sense of peace and is meant to dissolve stress. This is perfect for when you have had a hard day and want to enjoy a relaxing bath. Green is the colour of healing so having a mix of the two colours would be brilliant for this room and also are reminiscent of the colours of the sea. Bedroom When it comes to choosing a colour for your bedroom it is down to personal taste and people often opt for their favourite colour. Girls usually like to choose pink (like me!) and this is a great choice as it is said to be soothing and a comfort when you are feeling emotional like the pretty room in picture three. Orange is another great choice for a bedroom, especially with a young child as it is the colour of laughter. It is fun and would create a great feature wall colour. Living room The living room is a place where the whole family spend time in so should reflect everybodys personality which can be difficult to do. Aqua is a nice colour to add to a living room as it helps you to relax and when matching it with cream and brown creates a great living room look that will help keep the room bright and light too.
