A while back my sister went to Korea and came back with a few gifts. I ended up with some Korean sheet masks which I feel I can review since Ive used most of them up by now. I love sheet masks; I think theyre so convenient and can be easily disposed of.
These ones are slightly similar to the MBD masks, theyre pretty thin and because of this you have to be careful when opening it up. I pulled it with a little too much strength when I finished using it and it ripped. The material is very see through, shows how thin it is. Im guessing they tried to make it so it felt lightweight on the face maybe? The whole mask though is pretty moist and loaded with essence.
Like the MBD masks it fits okay with some adjustments needed but I still find loads of air bubbles because my face is on the smaller side. One thing though is it doesnt cover the ears like the other masks I have. Majority of the time I always have earphones in especially at night as I dont want to wake others, thats also usually when I use the mask and its better when I dont get the essence on my earphones.
It makes your face feel slightly cool and a little tingly. One thing Im not a fan of is the mask is perfumed; this is something that even before you place it on your face youll know because you can smell it as soon as the packet is opened. So I wouldnt recommend it for the sensitive unless youre sure you wont have any reaction against scented face masks. I lean more towards sheet masks that are mildly scented.
The packaging is full of Korean even the instructions are in Korean too so if you want to find out instructions and ingredients youre going to have to do your own research which I did. Theres also a few pictures on the back too if that helps. Some of the masks I received have some English information about the purpose of the mask which some people might be interested in reading.
Overall I feel theyre pretty good, theyre moisturising but the effects last for a day like other face masks but I always believe it helps in the long run. I prefer my MBD masks over these though I think they worked better for my skin and I feel the scents were less bothering.
