Choi`s back for now and she made Sushi

I made this around October time but since I`ve neglected this blog for awhile I`m only posting this now. It doesn`t take a lot to know that I LOVE Sushi, talking about it already is making me crave for it because it`s been long since I`ve had any. It`s not the first time I`ve made Sushi but it is a lot of trouble and gets a little messy.

The obvious ingredients would be Japanese sushi rice, seaweed paper, rice vinegar, cucumber, avocado, salmon and crab sticks. The salmon I purchased was the John west`s ready to eat smoked salmon. It saved me much more time and effort in finding the sushi grade salmon. The cost altogether was close to what it would have been if I went out and bought the ready made ones from a sushi store though.

I rolled these much better than before which the help of the bamboo roll. By the time I finished making everything I realised there was no soy sauce! It took two trips to my local supermarket to find the right one. A long time ago I`ve read somewhere on how to make the spicy sauce they serve on some sushi which is a mix of mayo and sriracha chilli sauce. I made a small bowl but much preferred the soy sauce and a teeny bit of wasabi.
