My grandmother gave my immediate family two bags of cookies. One bag was filled with chocolate chip cookies, and the other was filled with oatmeal raisin. I enjoy both types of cookies, but I prefer different aspects of both. I like chocolate chip cookies because you can really taste the vanilla and the chocolate in this kind of cookie, especially after it`s baked. I also enjoy the oats in the oatmeal cookies, but not necessarily the raisins. I do like raisins for their health benefits, but I would prefer to have them in grape form (when they taste much better). I would probably choose a plain oatmeal cookie with a side of grapes over a raisin oatmeal cookie. I also enjoy eating oatmeal raisin cookies when they are at room temperature, while chocolate chip cookies tend to lose their flavor once they have sat around long enough (which can be fixed by heating them up again, but don`t overdo it or you might burn them).
I would not have both oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip within the same time period (due to my taste buds needing time to get back the sweetness tasting hormones that the neurological receptors in my tongue would be sending to my brain while eating the chocolate chip cookie, making everything taste less sweet than if I were to wait), but I do generally like both types of cookies about the same.
